Q1Which formats are supported?
It reads MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC and OGG, plus the sound from MP4, MOV, MKV and WEBM videos; it exports MP3, WAV, FLAC and M4A. If a browser can't export a certain format, that format won't be shown.
Q2Does converting MP3 to WAV improve quality?
No. Detail lost during compression can't be recovered — converting to WAV just gives you a format editing software handles more easily. For good quality, start from a lossless original whenever you can.
